This one-time class is part of an award-winning social curriculum that creatively engages learners by tapping into their unique senses of humor while introducing and strengthening social/emotional and executive functioning skills.

“Improvisational Play” utilizes humor and the game form to nurture skills vital to becoming an emotionally aware, social thinking, creative human being. The learner experiences two authentic perspectives, that of the audience member who contributes ideas and that of the player who receives them and uses them to create a shared reality with a playing partner. Laughter is the motivational force for individual problem-solving and social bonding!
